OddsIntel Data — beta terms

Last updated 26 October 2026.

These terms apply when you request or use an OddsIntel Data API key. By using a key you agree to them. Businesses only — not for betting operators or their affiliates.

1

Who we are

OddsIntel Data is provided by Codename OÜ, Estonia (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].

2

The beta

The beta is free. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no service level agreement and no promise that it is always available. Features, endpoints, formats and the data itself may change, and published figures may be revised, at any time. Before a breaking change to the API we email key holders at least 14 days ahead.

Paid plans add the licence, close and service terms in sections 6 to 8.

We may end the beta by giving you 14 days’ notice by email to the address on your key request. Planned prices apply only after the beta, and only if you choose a paid plan; nothing is charged automatically.

3

Keys

A key is personal to the account holder it was issued to. Do not share it, publish it or embed it where others can read it; keep it secret. We review every key request and may decline one without giving a reason.

We count the requests and rows each key uses and, as one-way fingerprints, the networks it is used from, to apply the limits and to spot a key used beyond its holder (see the privacy notice). A trial key, which we may issue on request, stops working on the date we give you with it.

If you break the rules in section 4, including the rule against reconstructing a source’s prices, we may end your access to the service.

We may suspend or revoke a key at any time, including for abuse, for going over the limits, for breaking these terms, or at the end of the beta. If you think a key has leaked, tell us at [email protected] and we will replace it.

4

Acceptable use

You may use the data inside your own business (on the free Sample plan, for testing and evaluation only). On plans that say so (Pro and above), you may also show individual derived figures to your own users inside your product. You may not:

  • resell, sublicense or redistribute the feed or the data, in whole or in substantial part (showing individual derived figures inside your product, where your plan allows it, is not redistribution);
  • publish the data as your own feed or API, or present it as your own;
  • use the data to build or improve a competing data product;
  • go around or try to exceed the rate limits, or use several keys to do so;
  • try to identify the bookmakers or other sources behind the figures, or extract any individual source bookmaker’s lines;
  • reverse-engineer, de-aggregate or reconstruct any single source’s prices from any answer, including the takeable answers of POST /v1/clv (for example by sending many prices for the same selection);
  • present a CLV grade as "verified by OddsIntel" or as proof of a betting record: a grade measures the price you send against our close, it does not check that you took it;
  • interfere with the service, probe it for weaknesses or overload it.

The service is for businesses and adults (18+) only. By requesting or using a key you confirm that you are not a gambling operator, licensed or unlicensed, and that you are not acting for one or for its affiliates.

What the data is and is not

The data consists of derived figures for football only: consensus closing prices, fair prices, price age and the number of sources behind a figure. It contains no bookmaker names. It is provided as is, for analytics.

Our sources can change. If a source objects to its use, we may stop using it without notice; figures may then change or cover fewer matches.

A takeable answer is indicative and only about the sources we observe. Grading statuses (‘seen’, ‘near’, ‘not at our sources’) reflect internal sampled consensus indicators from our sources at the query time you give. We do not warrant market-wide liquidity or execution availability, and we accept no liability for betting outcomes. A grading status is not a statement about any other bookmaker: a price that is not at our sources may have been offered elsewhere.

It is not betting advice or a recommendation to bet. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or available at any given time. Past figures say nothing about future results.

6

Data licence (paid plans)

While your plan is paid up, we grant you a non-transferable licence (we may grant the same to others) to use the data your key reads, within your plan and within the rules in section 4:

  • Starter: use the data inside your own business, including in your own models, analyses, reports and internal tools.
  • Pro and Business: also show individual derived figures (for example one fair price, one close or one CLV grade) to your own users inside your own product.
  • Business: anything further that your signed order form allows in writing.

Work you derive from the data (your own model outputs, ratings, grades of your own bets, charts) is yours, as long as it does not let someone read our feed back out of it. Showing a figure is fine; showing so many that your product becomes a copy of the feed is redistribution, which section 4 does not allow.

When you show our figures to your users, credit them as “Data: OddsIntel” next to the figure or on a page linked from it. Do not suggest that we endorse your product, and do not present a figure as betting advice from us.

When your plan ends, the licence ends. Stop adding our figures to new work; you may keep your own derived work and the records you made while the plan ran.

Closes are final

A closing price (consensus_close, with close_is_final: true) is final once we publish it: we do not recompute or quietly overwrite it. Two things can still happen to a published close, and both are public:

  • Withdrawn: if the match is later postponed, abandoned or void, or its kick-off time turns out to be wrong, the row is served as withheld instead.
  • Corrected: if we find an error in it, for example the wrong fixture or kick-off time, we fix it.

Every withdrawal or correction of a published close is logged in the public changelog with the date, the fixture, the reason and the old and new close hash, so you can see exactly what changed and when. See versions and changes in the /v1 docs.

8

Service levels

OddsIntel Data is run by a small team. These are the targets we work to on paid plans. They are targets, not promises: missing one does not give you a refund or a credit, unless a Business order form says so in writing.

  • Availability: a best-effort target of 99 % of each calendar month, measured by checks every minute from a server in another data centre. The record of those checks is on status.oddsintel.app, and https://data.oddsintel.app/v1/status answers without a key.
  • Fresh or withheld: we serve a figure only when at least 3 independent sources stand behind it, its inputs were read within the last 45 minutes and we re-checked it within the last 10; otherwise the row is served as withheld, never as a stale number. The exact rules are in the docs (status and quality_flag).
  • Support: email [email protected]. We aim to reply within 2 business days on Starter and Pro, and within 1 business day on Business (Monday to Friday, except Estonian public holidays). The free Sample plan gets replies when we can.
  • Changes: before a breaking change to the API we email key holders at least 14 days ahead (section 2).

The free Sample plan has no service targets.

9

Liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. During the free beta that amount is zero. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, betting outcomes, or decisions you make based on the data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10

Term, cancellation and refunds

A paid plan runs month to month, or year to year on an annual plan, until you or we end it. A monthly plan can be cancelled at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid, and that month is not refunded. An annual plan is refunded pro rata if you ask within 14 days of purchase.

Odds API early access: if no bookmaker is on sale in our Odds API (shown on its Books page) within 14 days of your purchase, we refund that payment in full, monthly or annual, and you may keep or cancel the plan.

We may end a paid plan by giving you 30 days’ notice by email; we then refund the unused part of any period you paid ahead. If you break section 4 we may end it at once (section 3), with no refund.

11

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes go to Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus), unless the law gives you the right to another court. We may update these terms; for a change that affects you we will email you in advance, and the date above shows the current version.
